TERMS OF SERVICE

The terms that govern your use of the Creator University Philippines platform and services.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, submitting an application, or using any part of www.creatoruniversity.com.ph (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") between you and Creator University Philippines ("CRU", "we", "us"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy.

2. The service

CRU is a Bigo Live hosting agency and creator community. The Platform provides: creator and supporter accounts; creator programs and badges; community points and commendations; PK battle schedules and events; creator communities (groups) with chat; a merchandise store fulfilled by third parties; and Bigo Live diamond top-up services. Features may change over time; we strive to keep the platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to register.
  • One account per person. One Bigo ID per account — duplicate, throwaway or farmed accounts are prohibited and may be rejected, merged or closed.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your password confidential.
  • Applications are reviewed by our admin team, usually within 48 hours. We may approve, reject or suspend accounts at our discretion, including for false or misleading application details.

4. Community rules

CRU is a family-friendly, respectful community. You agree that you will not:

  • Harass, bully, threaten or discriminate against any member, on or off the Platform.
  • Post sexual, violent, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate content, or content that infringes someone else's intellectual property.
  • Manipulate points, commendations, battles or the store through automation, multiple accounts or other abuse.
  • Impersonate other people, brands or CRU staff, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
  • Use the Platform for solicitation, scams, or anything unlawful.

Group founders, presidents and admins help keep the community safe and may escalate violations; final enforcement decisions rest with CRU. Violations may result in content removal, suspension or permanent closure of your account.

5. Points, commendations and badges

Points and commendations are a social recognition mechanic inside CRU. They have no cash value, are not a currency, and cannot be exchanged for money except where CRU explicitly runs a redemption program with published rules. Monthly point allowances refresh and do not roll over. Attempts to farm or trade points through artificial means may result in forfeiture and account action.

6. Battles and events

Battle schedules and events are posted by the CRU program team. Participating hosts agree to show up for scheduled appearances or notify the team in advance. Repeated no-shows may affect placement and program standing. CRU may reschedule or cancel battles and events at any time.

7. Store and payments

  • Store products are print-on-demand and fulfilled by third-party providers; colours and placements may vary slightly from mockups.
  • Prices are shown at checkout; payments are processed by our payment provider and are subject to its terms.
  • Orders are confirmed and tracked through your account. For damaged or misprinted items, contact support@creatoruniversity.com.ph within 30 days of delivery.
  • Bigo Live diamond purchases are facilitated through BIGO Live's own systems; CRU acts as a reseller and is not the issuer of the virtual currency. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Bigo Live.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, bios and other content you upload. You grant CRU a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content on the Platform as needed to operate your profile, battles, groups and showcases. You can remove your content at any time (removed content may persist in backups for a limited retention period described in the Privacy Policy).

9. Intellectual property

The CRU name, logo, badges, design and software are the property of Creator University Philippines. "Bigo Live" and related marks belong to their respective owners; CRU is a hosting agency and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bigo Live.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, create risk for other members, or remain inactive for an extended period, with or without notice where the law allows. Store orders already placed are fulfilled or refunded as applicable.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, CRU disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages (including lost profits, lost data or goodwill). Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amounts you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or PHP 1,000 if you have paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first; unresolved disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Philippines, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Platform before they take effect, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The "effective date" above always reflects the latest version.
